I’ve known (and admired) Horst Meier for years and had to wait equally long until he welcomed me in his apartment in Frankfurt’s red light district. It was definitely worth the wait, seeing his spotless and perfectly furnished flat that lies just above several dubious casinos and strip clubs. Frankfurt’s rental market is absurd and Horst was looking for a place for what felt like years until he found this classic old building, which he renovated almost completely. As you can see, he favors white over every color and is a serious neatnik, which is kind of sine qua non, if you want to live as minimalistic and beautiful as he does.
