Links in Berlin: Foodie edition

best coffee in Berlin, The Barn Berlin

It might have something to do with the weather these last few days: sunshine, rain, sunshine, and then rain again. But like you may have noticed already, we not only have a sweet tooth around here: comfort food, ranging from hummus to bibimbap, is what makes – and keeps – us happy. So here are our latest food-related findings from around the web, best enjoyed with a cup of coffee – or a scoop of ice cream:

There can never be too many food blogs out there and Our Food Stories might have already caught your eye with mouthwatering yet minimalistic recipes on instagram – there’s also a section called ‘stores we love’ and this week’s post is about the beautiful flower shop Horeis.

Do you remember our love for books + bagels? Shakespeare & Sons recently opened another store in Friedrichshain and Marta can’t stop raving about this place – and we can’t wait to go!

Weichardt Brot was the winner in last year’s ‘Berlin’s best bread’: read more about the very beginnings of what might be the oldest organic bakery in Berlin here!

It’s Bite Club time again this evening and we suggest to sit by the water with some delicious Pastrami or ice cream sandwiches to celebrate these sunnier days ahead.

And last but not least, there’s another ‘Hangover Boheme flea market’ at Soho House on Sunday (10:00–18:00) which is all about vintage clothing and – you guessed it – burgers & bbq!
