Links in Berlin: Welcoming May

It’s been a slow week on the webs, maybe because of the great weather or the many holidays, and then there’s Gallery Weekend, celebrating the city’s galleries and their many achievements. And of course the anticipation of the burger fest tomorrow at Prince Charles. Until then, read this:

So many galleries, so little time, besides our own guide we suggest you take a look at the recommendations by bpigs (and all their upcoming reviews) for the Gallery Weekend and the Top 10 list of 032c (sounds buzzfeedy, but is quite accurate).

Even more art and a great interview by Tagesspiegel with one of the most important gallery owners, Javier Peres of Peres Projects – sadly only in German, but maybe a good exercise for those of you practicing the language?

Berlin-nostalgia at its best, a super-8-film by Steffy van Valanger made in a tram going through East-Berlin in 1990 and then combined with a techno track by Efdemin from 2014 – voila.

Finding a good bagel is hard, we like Shakespeare & Sons’ ones, and …then we take Berlin discovered a new café in Neukölln offering Bagels & Lox, that’s obviously worth a try.
