As some of you already know, we’re always happy to find some nice vegetarian and vegan places in Berlin. Goodies* is one of our favorite spots in Friedrichshain for a healthy yet delicious lunch! So of course we had to include them in our weekly Kitchen Tunes series! Join us behind-the-scenes when listening to the same music that’s playing in the kitchen at Goodies*!

In the rare case of not having heard of Tim Raue until now, let’s just say it’s one of the best fine dining experiences you can get in Berlin (2 Michelin stars and 19/20 Gault-Millau points)! So of course, we had to ask them if they’d like to take part in our Kitchen Tunes series. And this is what Tim Raue himself wrote to us: “In the kitchen, I prefer silence. But my team really likes listening to music while cooking. And since they’re all great guys, the playlist is as diverse.” There’s nothing more to add other than: let yourself be surprised!
For the first time in our Kitchen Tunes series, where we sneak into the kitchens of our favorite restaurants in Berlin, we head to Charlottenburg for the spectacle that is having dinner at Glass: their playlist is as diverse and well selected as their menu. A mix of good music ranging across the genres from Charlotte Gainsbourg to Rage Against The Machine.
There seems to be a never ending supply of new cafés opening every week in Berlin. And while we definitely have our favorite places to enjoy a cup of coffee, we’re also happy to try the new ones. Especially, when they offer something original and are located just around the corner from the office on Oranienstraße. As new and exciting as the newest addition on busy Oranienstraße: Charlie’s Asian Bakery & Coffee.
It’s Thursday! Which means it’s time for another edition of Kitchen Tunes, where we invite you to a musical tour through our favorite kitchens. Silo, the lovely café in Friedrichshain, likes to change things up a bit with their playlist. So grab a cup of coffee and enjoy the day with some good music ranging from jazzy Etta James to psychedelic rock by Australian band Tame Impala!
