Chinese in Berlin: Selig

When the temperatures drop and the sky is filled with loads more grey, when we all know what’s coming for us, it’s time to look to the benefits of the cold season: countless Chinese dinners where we feast on hot chili dishes, heartwarming stews and all the dumplings. So let me suggest a new entry on the by now very long list of places to eat delicious Chinese food: Selig.

Escape: Where to eat in Prague

Isn’t it weird how we never talk about Prague? It’s so close, it’s insanely beautiful, (a lot cheaper), and still I haven’t been in over 15 years and everyone I talked to was like, yeah, I really want to go, but… No but! You should go! Coming Up: Just Desserts!

It’s time for a feast of treats, my favorite part of any menu, elevated and enhanced: the ultimate dessert experience! I’ve teamed up with The Store Kitchen and their excellent pastry chef Laura Villanueva-Guerra to bring you JUST DESSERTS, a round of five excellent, inventive, delicious desserts, including refreshing floats, surprising fruit consommés, extravagant pastry sculptures and, obviously, lavish chocolate creations. Happening on Sunday, September 25th at The Store Kitchen at 17:00, tickets are limited so get yours here immediately!

Markthalle Neun: News!

There’re a lot of things happening at your favorite market hall in Kreuzberg! Not only did a retailer occupying loads of the hall move out, but there’s a new chef at the Kantine, a new cake vendor, a bigger space to attend to your caffeine addiction, and a beautiful new stall selling produce born and raised in Berlin. But one after the other…
