I met Elisabeth several years ago through a friend, when she had just decided to be a full-time artist and painter. When I met her again just some weeks ago I was more than happy to hear her decision turned out to be the right one and she’s having some major projects to come.

On the day I came to visit Nicole at her home, she decided to buy a house in Brandenburg together with her partner and close friends. We spent a long time in her kitchen, where she told me of this new acquisition that will mark a serious change of lifestyle, spending the weekends in an area without Spätkaufs or fancy restaurants, but a huge garden and horses.
Jack Howard is the founder of the Berlin Film Society, which he launched in February of this year, in time for the last Berlinale.
Fabian was my lovely host during my 3-day-trip to Hamburg, he lives in St.Georg, in-between organic stores, traditional cobbler shops and gay hardcore sex clubs. While some people still say they wouldn’t want to live there, I enjoyed the dense mix of interests and people, which is rather hard to find in Berlin, since our lovely city is so spacious.
Fabian has been living in Hamburg for many years, working as an editor for GQ, Interview and fostering his own blog, fabianhart.com, which is one of the best (fashion) blogs we have in Germany. The fashion needs to be parenthesized, since he deals with so much more than clothing, carefully composing images and texts on urban and online phenomena.
There’s no way around Bent Angelo Jensen when it comes to Hamburg and style – his brand Herr von Eden is known for its exceedingly stylish and impeccably made suits, that are worn by confident men and women throughout Europe. In his Atelier at Großneumarkt, where the above picture was taken, he and his tailors work on made-to-measure suits and special jobs, handling classic cuts and unusual fabrics. Bent himself is his best model, appearing in his ad-motifs shot by Daniel Josefsohn numerous times and wearing his own designs in perfection.
By the way, there’s also a Herr von Eden store in Berlin, located at Alte Schönhauser Straße 14.
