Opening: PANAMA is hiring


For an extraordinary restaurant opening on Potsdamer Strasse in May 2016 Contemporary Food Lab, the Berlin-based food venture dealing with matters of food and nutrition in various fields, is looking for new staff members. Like its renowned sibling Katz Orange, Panama is located in a beautiful backyard of an impressive old factory building. The new restaurant has several floors with approx. 100 seats, two bars and a private dining space.

Panama’s culinary inspiration stems from various old and new raw food traditions around the world combined with contemporary cooking techniques. In accordance with the kitchen’s menu we’re offering a unique bar and wine concept.

To support our team we’re looking for passionate staff sharing our holistic approach.


Candidates applying for a chef’s position must have:

Completed training and top kitchen skills
Several years of experience in gourmet gastronomy
Very good communication skills and resilience
Creativity and pleasure in the development of a new and innovative concept, affected by regional and local approaches, inspired by the cuisines of the world
Integrity and consciousness for sustainability and ethically correct food production
International experience is a plus


Candidates for service, bar & hosting should bring a professional education and several years of experience in top gastronomy. Additionally we require strong communication skills and resilience and the willingness to strike a new path with us.
