The last weekend of July is already just around the corner – and we’ve been very lucky to have such a beautiful summer so far. One has only to look at this sunset @leila_garfield took from a Berlin classic and tagged it with #linksinberlin! Here’s to many more days like this – and another round-up of things to read and do in Berlin, our own way of showing our love for living in this city!
Taking the time to sit down and enjoy a cup of coffee is one of life’s simple pleasures – and in Berlin, there’re so many cafés to choose from. So next time you ask yourself where to go, how about Marta’s latest discovery?
As someone who spends as much time as Markthalle Neun as possible, either for Street Food Thursday or the weekly farmers’ market, we’re always happy about the growing food scene in Berlin. The latest addition might be a new farmer’s market in Neukölln: Die dicke Linda! Taking place for the first time tomorrow, don’t miss the chance to stock up on fresh produce while browsing the many stalls on Kranoldplatz!
One of our favorite things to do in summer is to ride our bike around the city. But of course, from time to time, we’re glad that Berlin has the Ringbahn, one of the easiest ways to get around. Paul from Slow Travel wanted to change things up a bit and walked all around the city instead. (Have a look at Part 1 as well!)
Due to bad weather in May, the Hangover Boheme Flea Market had to be rescheduled. On Sunday, it’s taking place again at Soho House from 10:00-18:00, so be sure to stop by for some vintage shopping!
