Links in Berlin: All hot

Summer’s back in full swing and as if we had planned it this way, this week’s #linksinberlin are all suggesting things to do this weekend – from a Korean BBQ joint near Tempelhof to the big spectacle on Sunday that is The Breakfast Market. Enjoy this Berlin summer as long as it lasts – and be sure to tag your sunny impressions of the city with #linksinberlin to get featured in our next round-up! Like @tigramgros did when he submitted this beautiful scene of summer in Berlin!

One of our favorite places to enjoy the Berlin sunsets is Tempelhof – get yourself some ice cream from Mos Eisley (Luisa loves it too!)and take a walk! Like Überlin, the urban gardening going on on the former airfield never ceases to amaze us.

Just around the corner, there happen’s to be Mmaah, a Korean BBQ joint. Like the name of the place already implies, Sara didn’t leave without a satisfied feeling that can only come from Kimchi and the likes – and we can’t wait to go!

Cathrin Brandes, one of our jury members from last year’s Berlin’s best bread competition, has written a cookbook: Die Stadt kocht. It contains portraits from ice cream parlors to cafés – all the places that make summer in Berlin so beautiful! And what’s better than sitting in the garden with a good book?

Like we already know, bees are one of the most important creatures in nature and this weekend, Slow Food Berlin dedicates another day to these little helpers at Stadthonigfest. Come by Prinzessinengarten for everything honey!

And last but not least, here’s the final reminder of the logical continuation of Street Food Thursday at Markthalle Neun: join us at The Breakfast Market and start your Sunday with breakfasts from all around the world! Looking forward to see you there!
