It’s Fashion Week, y’all! Have you even noticed? Seems like the presence of the most fashionable of the weeks dwindled over the past seasons, with lesser and lesser internationally (or even nationally) acclaimed big houses presenting their newest looks in the capital. But whatever, I was always in to support the locals anyway, pushing them to stardom! Or at least into your wardrobe, because fashion can be as beautiful as it wants, it needs to be bought to shine. And thus I am presenting you the much awaited update of the very important guide to shop Berlin designers in Berlin. It is not as simple as one thinks, albeit Kadewe is putting up a big show for the summer, and more and more labels are opening their own stores. Refer to this list when your shopping trip needs a lot more shop-local-attitude and invest in products directly from your neighborhood:

Just in case you need a glamorous gown or a riveting robe, Tomaszewski is your choice for upscale and refined garments, fittingly located for that in Berlin’s most bourgeois area in Charlottenburg.
Known for its seductive and elegant silk and leather designs, Canadian Jen Gilpin keeps black at the core of her collections. Be prepared for a sensual shopping experience in their beautiful space with heavy wooden furniture and brass elements on busy Torstraße.
Best known for their bridal wear and characteristic bags, the store offers the full collection of the notorious label – don’t miss their vintage store, selling show-pieces and designs from previous seasons at Brunnenstraße.
One of the most prestigious brands in Mitte, Lala Berlin’s signature piece is still the huge scarf with catchy prints, of which you will find a big selection in their own beautiful and spacious store in the center of Mitte. But don’t miss out on checking their collection of laid-back Berlin chic.
Lunettes is a fabulous vintage glasses store, that is actually so fabulously successful, they now have their own line. There are three stores in Berlin, the one in Mitte has the fanciest glasses, Prenzlauer Berg also sells children’s frames and the outlet at Marienburger Straße will have your wallet smile.
Albeit the glorious weather, winter is eventually coming back, but this calls for excitement rather than despair, since you will again be able to wear Maiami’s beautiful knit creations.
One of Berlin’s fashion wunderkinder, Michael now has a shop of his own – located in a stunning, self-renovated Altbau in Kreuzberg, the small yet cosy store features all of his designs.

MONGRELS IN COMMON
Ladylike clothing inspired by menswear, in classical shapes yet modern patterns and beautiful materials.
A Berlin eyewear manufacturer that was founded in 2003 that has since risen to stardom with their unique hand-made designs, that are made in their own factory on Kreuzberg’s Ritterstraße and is sold in Mitte and at Bikini Berlin.
Loud prints and easy cuts, playful patterns and witty details by designer duo Silvia Salvador and Nando Cornejo.
Need some color in your life? Then head to this bursting store in Mitte, selling kaftans, pillows, handbags and much more in their own intense designs.
The creations of this picture-shy hatter are a staple in Berlin, her elaborate designs and vibrant colors will give you a signature look no matter what else you wear.
A favorite when it comes to jewelry from Berlin, Sabrina Dehoff’s store on Torstraße is a must-see, if you‘d ask us.
Well, say hello to glitter! Starstyling started with styling stars and is now making fun and shiny clothing, that is very Berlin in its casual appeal. The interior of the store at Mulackstraße alone is worth a visit.
Ettina Berrios-Negrón’s elegant and grown-up designs are presented in a boutique Mitte, she also does a lot of wedding designs in case you’re interested.
Fabricating extremely high-quality basics for a decent price, this label often stays under the radar of Berlin’s fashion excitement. Nevertheless we highly recommend visiting the small store at Auguststraße.
In a great minimal interior with a beautiful backyard right on Mulackstraße, you can shop Hien Le, Reality Studio and Vladimir Karaleev as well as shoes by Velt.
Besides an excellent selection of branded vintage pieces, this chic store in Kreuzkölln has a big selection of Hien Le, Sissi Goetze and Thone Negron.
From July 6th till August 22nd, Berlin’s most prominent Department Store will present (and sell) selected pieces by Berlin designers Augustin Teboul, Dawid Tomaszewski, Hien Le, Isabell de Hillerin, Lala Berlin, Malaika Raiss, Marina Hoermanseder, Michael Sontag, Mykita, Perret Schaad, Tim Labenda and Vladimir Karaleev. Definitely the best opportunity to get an overview of what Berlin fashion can do.
Konk is by far the store with the biggest offer of Berlin-based designers, and we highly recommend it if you’re interested in Berlin’s fashion design scene. Presenting itself in an all-new location, this store focusses on French brands plus a very well chosen Berlin label: Perret Schaad.
We told you about Voo so many times but of course it has to be in this list, since they‘re stocking selections of Hien Le, Reality Studio, R.T.CO and my favorite Berlin menswear designer, Sissi Goetze.
A small and pretty store conveniently located on Alte Schönhauser Straße offering one of the rare possibilities to shop the cool collection of Malaika Raiss.
