Warm Up 3, the clothing donation event benefiting Kreuzberg Hilft is only a week away! Did you go through your closet for those coats and boots yet? Found enough to get you those lottery tickets? Let me motivate you by listing the prizes you can win!
Some people have asked me why this years’ Warm Up is limited to coats, jackets, boots and shoes for men, women and children – the answer is easy: because that is what’s most needed. Everything else would only take more resources to sort, repair, and, most importantly, store the donations, and the current situation doesn’t allow that. However, we all have that surplus coat that we haven’t worn in years, or these boots that might be functional, but too far off your taste. So please, take some time this weekend to roam your closet so we have loads of winter warmers to donate next Friday!
Here’s a list of our prize donors and what you can win. Remember, one kilo of donated clothing gives you one ticket – the more you donate, the more chance of wining one (or more!) of these:
Six holiday kits by Aesop, with a combined worth of 650 Euro – a one year subscription to Fjord Coffee’s bean delivery service – a two-night stay at the Gorki Apartments – a 100 Euro gift card for concept store Hallesches Haus – a 100 Euro gift card for cooking and baking supply store Kochtail – a 75 Euro gift card for Berlin fashion store Konk – a dinner for two at Lode & Stijn – a 90min treatment at MDC Cosmetic – a pair of sunglasses worth 349 Euro by Berlin brand MYKITA – a Meta side table by New Tendency – a dinner for two including wine at Michelin starred restaurant Nobelhart & Schmutzig – a brunch worth 50 Euro at Silo Coffee – a 100 Euro gift card at interior shop Süper Store – and two 250 Euro gift cards for Voo Store!
Once again, all the info: Warm Up 3 is happening on Nov 25th at Voo Store, Oranienstraße 24 in Kreuzberg. Donations can be dropped off from 17:00, raffle starts at 19:00. And here’s the facebook event.
ALSO, I’m looking for volunteers helping to receive, sort and weigh the donations for Friday. If you want to join and help, please send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
