It’s obviously my favorite part of any menu, I like to think I’ve got an extra stomach just for it, and really, what kind of person doesn’t like it? Dessert! Aka the best part of every menu. Which is why, I teamed up with The Store Kitchen to bring you the ultimate dessert experience, and we’re calling it: JUST DESSERTS. Five courses of excellent, inventive, delicious desserts, including refreshing floats, surprising fruit consommés, extravagant pastry sculptures and, obviously, lavish chocolate creations. Read on to find out where and when to enjoy it, or get your ticket here immediately, because tables are limited!

Swim in Berlin: Langer See

It’s that time of the year again! The question: do you know a beautiful lake with crystal clear water, nice patches of grass and, like, no people?? is literally haunting me. The answer is, I don’t have one. And if I had one, people would probably murder me if I spilled the secret. Like when they said I destroyed Bernsteinsee three years ago. That pretty gravel pit turned lake was always well visited by people, but some claimed my post on this humble blog was the last nail in the coffin. Promised, this lake is not a new discovery, it’s no secret, which is why you’ll meet people there, even a lot of them when the weather is right, also because a tram is transporting you right to it. HOWEVER, it’s a gorgeous lake with refreshing water and nice sunny patches in a forest to lay down your towel and doze through the heat wave.

Dining in Berlin: Lode & Stijn

I finally went to Lode & Stijn, halleluja! I was so excited to go all the time and still it took me too many weeks, and I don’t even have a reason for that. And then I wanted to write about it instantly but went to Japan for two weeks and now I’m back and looking at the pictures and wanna go again right now. So without further explanations, let’s get to the food…

Escape: Eating in Tokyo

It’s so weird to write this post, I certainly didn’t plan for it, I didn’t even wanna do it. But some people asked me to. I don’t feel entirely confident to actually list places to eat at in Tokyo, and I can only justify this list by being transparent about my sources. Anyhow, I had a great time eating at all of these, so you will very likely enjoy them as well. Enough with the excuses, here’s a list where to eat in Tokyo.
