The Mitte-crowd is going crazy for a new health-food café on Weinbergsweg – Daluma opened its doors last October and has since collected a huge and very devoted audience patiently waiting to pick up cold pressed juices or enjoying a vegan and/or raw lunch on the spot. I finally went last week to check out if Daluma’s food is not only healthy but tasty.

Oranienstraße is the prominent street that is crowded with people searching for drinks and fun at night, and hundreds of hungry working lot looking for a good lunch during the day. And then there are the little foodie havens, which I enjoyed to discover since we moved our office to this part of Kreuzberg. One of the first places I went was Anaveda, and I have loved it ever since.

And if you can’t wait to try, we’re giving away four one-day detox packages in this post!
One of my favorite spots for a super healthy lunch is Goodies*, a vegetarian and vegan deli with by now four locations in Berlin. Its home base lies on Friedrichshain’s Warschauer Straße, while its outlets are housed in the stores of Veganz in Prenzlauer Berg and Friedrichshain, as well as in the gigantic Globetrotter store in Steglitz.
