Just six kilometers from Mitte lies Plötzensee in Wedding’s park Rehberge – which means it’s a quick and easy to reach spot to enjoy the last rays of warming summer sunshine by and in the water.
That the district Weissensee is named after a lake is quite self-explaining, but that it is an actually pretty nice lake to swim in, I didn’t know for many years…
