Food in Berlin: Luigi Zuckermann (Closed)

IMG_6566-11.jpg

Update, September 2014, this spot closed. Berlin is offering us some nice and sunny days, warm enough to enjoy lunch in the sun, as I did this week with my fashion blogging friends of This is Jane Wayne. Sarah and Nike suggested having a sandwich at the fabulous Luigi Zuckermann sandwich place since they were really hungry and Zuckermann's sandwiches are surely suitable for that situation. They offer different veggie and meat sandwiches, with the above pictured grilled Scamorza (5,30 Euro) being my choice. The sandwiches are fresh, big and plenty filled with salad and grilled vegetables. If you're not up for white bread, they also offer several salads as well as bagels and toasts. The speciality here is roastbeef and pastrami, their other restaurant being Ruben&Carla, a renown place for pastrami and tagliata lovers, this is no surprise. Sadly they're not open 24hrs anymore, but still until late at night.
